Dr. Kelly Drover, BSc, Dip. DH, DDS
Dr. Drover graduated from Acadia University with a BSc (Biology/ Psychology) in 1995, followed by a diploma in Dental Hygiene from Dalhousie University in 2000. After practicing as a dental hygienist for two years she decided to fulfill her desire to become a dentist and graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2006. During her academic studies merits included the JD Maclean scholarship, greatest proficiency in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and the Clinical Pediatric Dentistry awards. She also was first place recipient of the Dalhousie Table Clinic Research Award and competed on a national level.
Dr. Drover is originally from Lewisporte, Newfoundland, however, began her dental career in Nova Scotia. While practicing at Trimac Dental Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Dr. Drover also provided after hours emergency services for Dalhousie’s dental school. She returned to Newfoundland in 2010 where she practiced at Stavanger Dental for 12 years before following her dream to open her own clinic, Kelly Drover Dental in 2022.
Dr. Drover is committed to providing top quality comprehensive general dentistry services to her patients. She pursues a wide range of continuing education courses, through highly recognized institutions, in order to provide the best possible care.
She practices every aspect of general and family dentistry with special interests in cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign orthodontic treatment and Implantology. She is a strong believer in preventative dentistry and is committed to helping her patients maintain their smiles throughout their lifetime.
Dr. Drover completed her certification in Invisalign in 2017 and has been an active member of the Newfoundland and Labrador Dental Association since 2010, the Canadian Dental Association since 2006 and Spear Club since 2021.
In 2021, Dr. Drover was honoured to be voted in as Platinum and Top Choice Dentist through St. John’s Community Votes– an official community voting awards platform. She prides herself on caring immensely for the well-being of her patients. She is devoted to providing excellent clinical care and thoroughly enjoys taking the time to get to know her patients and their families.
As a mother of three children, much of her time is spent supporting her children and their wide array of interests. Dr. Drover and her husband Chris enjoy camping, entertaining family and friends and travelling - especially if there is a great concert or musical to be seen.
Dr. Keegan Ezekiel
Dr. Keegan Ezekiel was born and raised here in St. John's, NL. After graduating from Bishops College High School, he attended Acadia University where he completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Chemistry, and played with the Men's Varsity Soccer Team.
Dr. Ezekiel then went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Dalhousie University; graduating in 2019.
Outside of work, Dr. Ezekiel participates in various recreational sports and enjoys spending time with his partner and their three dogs.

Dr. Zoe Rolle
Dr. Rolle graduated from Acadia University with a BSc (Biology) in 2017. After her undergraduate degree, she completed a diploma in Dental Hygiene from Dalhousie University in 2019, for which she graduated top of her class receiving awards for academic achievements and excellence in patient care. After practising as a dental hygienist for one year in private practice, she continued to pursue her dream of becoming a dentist. She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2024 at Dalhousie University, graduating with distinction. During her academic studies, awards include greatest proficiency in Orthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Periodontics and Pharmacology. Dr. Rolle also received the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Certificate of Merit for demonstrating outstanding proficiency in dentistry for children.
During her time in dental school, Dr. Rolle recognized the immense need for providers that cater to the dental needs of pediatric patients. Therefore, she went on to further her training with an intensive 12-month pediatric general practice residency program at the IWK Health Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. During this residency, she worked closely with pediatric dentists, gaining her pediatric dental skills, and providing dental care to children and adults with special health care needs. She has extensive training in dentistry under general anesthesia, conscious oral sedation, and nitrous-oxide sedation.
Outside of her academic achievements, Dr. Rolle volunteers with the Special Olympics oragnization as a dentist providing oral health care to the athletes along with the Special Smiles team. She also enjoys travelling, reading, running, and is an active spin class attendee. She cherishes the time she gets to visit her family in Toronto, Ontario. Dr. Rolle has two cats, Miso and Sushi.
Dr. Rolle looks forward to settling down and starting her career as a general dentist in St. John’s, Newfoundland. She received her Invisalign certification in 2024 and practices every aspect of general dentistry with special interests in endodontics, oral surgery and pediatric dentistry. Dr. Rolle is excited to explore more of Newfoundland and can’t wait to meet you!
OFFICE MANAGEMENT
Kylie Pelley
Office Manager/Level II Dental Assistant
Kylie was born and raised in the east end of St. John’s, NL. After graduating high school in 2007, she completed multiple years of study at Memorial University before finding her passion for dentistry and Dental Assisting. Kylie graduated with Honours from the Dental Assisting program at Keyin College in 2013, and was also the recipient of the Dr. Kavanagh Award for Clinical Excellence. She has been working in the east end of St. John’s ever since. Kylie is going into her 11th year of working with Dr. Kelly Drover. Kylie has a strong passion for infection control, pharmacology, orthodontics/Invisalign, and continuing education.
When she's not at the dental office, Kylie is also an established makeup artist. She loves spending her free time with her family and her english setter, Molly.
ADMINISTRATIVE TEAM
Erin Patterson
Administrative Assistant
Erin is originally from Markland, although she has spent the last 15 years in the St. John's area.
After graduating from the Dental Assisting program at Keyin College, Erin has gained almost 15 years experience in the dental field, most of which was in the administrative side of the practice. Having spent almost 10 of those years working with Dr. Drover in the past, joining the Kelly Drover Dental team was a no brainer.
In her spare time you will find Erin reading, cooking, or refinishing old pieces of furniture. Although most of her time is spent with her greatest loves, her children Cohen and Sadie, and her husband Justin.
Alana Griffin
Administrative Assistant
After beginning her career in dental assisting, Alana developed a passion for the administrative side of dentistry, where she enjoys creating a welcoming and comfortable experience for every patient. Since joining Kelly Drover Dental in 2025, she has loved getting to know patients and being part of a team that truly feels like family.
Outside of the office, Alana enjoys exploring her creative interests through photography, crafting, and other artistic projects. She loves spending time with her boyfriend, their dog, family, and friends, and making memories with the people who mean the most to her. Whether she’s working on a new project or enjoying time at home, Alana brings creativity, kindness, and a personal touch to everything she does.

Christina Lear
Level II Dental Assistant
As a Certified Dental Assistant Level II, I bring many years of experience in the dental field, having practiced in both the United States and Israel before continuing my career in Canada. I am passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality patient care and helping every patient feel comfortable and confident during their visit.
I speak English, Hebrew, Russian, and Ukrainian, allowing me to communicate with and support patients from a variety of backgrounds. I take pride in creating a welcoming environment where every patient feels heard and cared for.
Outside the office, I enjoy traveling, hiking, and exploring the breathtaking landscapes of beautiful Newfoundland. I love connecting with people and bringing a friendly, positive attitude to both my work and everyday life.
Kendra Brace
Level II Dental Assistant
Kendra is a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) who grew up in St. John's and now resides in Paradise. After graduating from high school in 2018, she then pursued her studies in Dental Assisting - graduating in 2020. She is committed to making each appointment a comfortable and enjoyable experience while helping patients build healthy, confident smiles, and creating a positive dental experiences for patients of all ages - with a special passion for working with children.
Outside the office you’ll find Kendra out adventuring and making memories with her golden retriever Josie, spending time with family and friends or curled up reading her kindle.

Desiree Brake
Dental Hygienist
Desiree grew up in the west end of St. John’s, where she graduated from high school in 2017. Following graduation, Desiree studied at Memorial University for several years. She began working in a dental clinic, which inspired her to pursue her career in Dental Hygiene.
Being passionate about oral hygiene care, she attended and graduated with honours from the Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and Auxiliaries in North York, ON. She continues to enroll herself in professional education courses to ensure she is providing her patients the best quality care.
In her free time, Desiree loves to travel, go hiking, and spend time with her family and friends – especially her partner Aaron and their 2 huskies, Nala and Steeler!

Kourtney Canning
Dental Hygienist
Kourtney is originally from Cottlesville, NL. After graduating High School, she moved to Mississauga, Ontario, where she graduated from the Canadian Academy of Dental Hygiene with Honours. She is focused on providing her patients with optimal oral health care. Her goal is to provide patient comfort to ensure and enjoyable experience!
