Dr. Kelly Drover, BSc, Dip. DH, DDS

Dr. Drover graduated from Acadia University with a BSc (Biology/ Psychology) in 1995, followed by a diploma in Dental Hygiene from Dalhousie University in 2000. After practicing as a dental hygienist for two years she decided to fulfill her desire to become a dentist and graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2006. During her academic studies merits included the JD Maclean scholarship, greatest proficiency in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and the Clinical Pediatric Dentistry awards. She also was first place recipient of the Dalhousie Table Clinic Research Award and competed on a national level.

 

Dr. Drover is originally from Lewisporte, Newfoundland, however, began her dental career in Nova Scotia. While practicing at Trimac Dental Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Dr. Drover also provided after hours emergency services for Dalhousie’s dental school. She returned to Newfoundland in 2010 where she practiced at Stavanger Dental for 12 years before following her dream to open her own clinic, Kelly Drover Dental in 2022.

Dr. Drover is committed to providing top quality comprehensive general dentistry services to her patients. She pursues a wide range of continuing education courses, through highly recognized institutions, in order to provide the best possible care. 

​

She practices every aspect of general and family dentistry with special interests in cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign orthodontic treatment and Implantology. She is a strong believer in preventative dentistry and is committed to helping her patients maintain their smiles throughout their lifetime.

 

Dr. Drover completed her certification in Invisalign in 2017 and has been an active member of the Newfoundland and Labrador Dental Association since 2010, the Canadian Dental Association since 2006 and Spear Club since 2021.

 

In 2021, Dr. Drover was honoured to be voted in as Platinum and Top Choice Dentist through St. John’s Community Votes– an official community voting awards platform. She prides herself on caring immensely for the well-being of her patients. She is devoted to providing excellent clinical care and thoroughly enjoys taking the time to get to know her patients and their families.

 

As a mother of three children, much of her time is spent supporting her children and their wide array of interests. Dr. Drover and her husband Chris enjoy camping, entertaining family and friends and travelling - especially if there is a great concert or musical to be seen.

Dr. Zoe Rolle

Dr. Rolle graduated from Acadia University with a BSc (Biology) in 2017. After her undergraduate degree, she completed a diploma in Dental Hygiene from Dalhousie University in 2019, for which she graduated top of her class receiving awards for academic achievements and excellence in patient care. After practising as a dental hygienist for one year in private practice, she continued to pursue her dream of becoming a dentist. She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2024 at Dalhousie University, graduating with distinction. During her academic studies, awards include greatest proficiency in Orthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Periodontics and Pharmacology. Dr. Rolle also received the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Certificate of Merit for demonstrating outstanding proficiency in dentistry for children.


During her time in dental school, Dr. Rolle recognized the immense need for providers that cater to the dental needs of pediatric patients. Therefore, she went on to further her training with an intensive 12-month pediatric general practice residency program at the IWK Health Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. During this residency, she worked closely with pediatric dentists, gaining her pediatric dental skills, and providing dental care to children and adults with special health care needs. She has extensive training in dentistry under general anesthesia, conscious oral sedation, and nitrous-oxide sedation.


Outside of her academic achievements, Dr. Rolle volunteers with the Special Olympics oragnization as a dentist providing oral health care to the athletes along with the Special Smiles team. She also enjoys travelling, reading, running, and is an active spin class attendee. She cherishes the time she gets to visit her family in Toronto, Ontario. Dr. Rolle has two cats, Miso and Sushi.


Dr. Rolle looks forward to settling down and starting her career as a general dentist in St. John’s, Newfoundland. She received her Invisalign certification in 2024 and practices every aspect of general dentistry with special interests in endodontics, oral surgery and pediatric dentistry. Dr. Rolle is excited to explore more of Newfoundland and can’t wait to meet you!
